Wellfleet Lake
Wellfleet Lake State Wildlife Management Area is located in Lincoln County, one-half mile southwest of Wellfleet. The lake is restricted to boats with non-power or electric fishing motors. 
The lake has approximately 50 surface acres of water. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission lists Wellfleet Lake as containing Bluegill, Channel & Flathead Catfish, Crappie and Largemouth Bass. 
Wellfleet Lake SWMA has primitive camping, boat access, and restrooms.

Dancing Leaf Earth Lodge
Dancing Leaf Cultural Learning Center offers a unique blend of educational and
recreational opportunities. An earthen lodge from the time period of 800-1300
years ago has been reconstructed. A tour of this and other archeological
information and artifacts is covered in a 90 minute daily tour.
Dancing Leaf is located on 115 acres of cedar covered canyons along the Medicine Creek and includes a spring fed lake, many scenic trails and natural springs.

Plow Day
The first Saturday in April marks the date for the annual Plow Day in Wellfleet, Nebraska where tractors and plows are on hand for a fun, festive event.  http://www.plowday.com/

J 4 Cabin and Campground is new to Wellfleet and opens the weekend of the Wellfleet Fall Festival.  The campground is conviently located near Wellfleet Lake. More info will be added to this site soon.
